Brian taught Buddhism courses for 20 years but joined the UFO community in 2007. He is an aficionado of ufology and studied for 3,000 hours and connects Buddhist cosmology and ETs, with orbs, devas, angels, UFOs and aliens.
He has hosted hundreds of videos and leads the Preparing for ET Contact Meetup group... and has discussed these topics in videos with Stanton Friedman, Richard Dolan, Stephen Bassett, Mary Rodwell, Kathleen Marden, Sherry Wilde, Judy Carroll, Brien Foerster, Barbara Lamb and Rey Hernandez.
Brian was a monk in Thailand and he has taught Buddhism since 1996 in Vancouver, Canada. He has taught thousands of people in adult ed. courses.
Raised within a Unitarian background, Brian was exposed early to the spiritual dimension of life as he had childhood paranormal experiences and he has practised higher realm channeling since age 17, which is a major part of his inner spiritual world. Originally from Ontario, he studied business and philosophy at Brock University, and moved to Vancouver in 1980, continuing his studies at BCIT. After working in the financial planning industry selling mutual funds for eight years, he felt that although he was a reasonably happy individual, something was 'missing' from his life. Like many of us, he was haunted by the need for meaning and purpose in life.
Brian considered a number of different spiritual paths. In 1991 he was drawn to Buddhism because in it he found something sane, profound and wise. After immersing himself in Buddhist teachings and practice he quit the financial planning business, and became a true seeker. He moved for four years to Thailand, a Theravada Buddhist country. In Thailand he studied and practised at various temples and meditation centres, gathering teachings and deepening his meditation practice. Thailand has a temporary ordination culture and Brian spent a short time in the monkhood with the name Buddhasaro bhikkhu.
At his home temple, Wat Ram Poeng, in Chiangmai, Northern Thailand, he was trained by the abbot, Ajahn Supan, to be a meditation instructor. It was in this setting that Brian first began to teach and give formal lectures on Buddhism to the dozens of Westerners who came to the monastery for month-long meditation retreats. It was in this setting, as well, that Brian decided that it was time for him to return to his homeland to share his insights and experiences.
He is the author of three Buddhist books available on Amazon, which include a chapter “Buddhism and UFOs” where Brian uses Buddhist cosmology to relate how consciousness is connected to ETs.
Brian's hypothesis is that the Greys are a front for a federation of planets which includes mantids, Nordics and other ETs, which follows the guidance of a Universal Governing Body for this planet. The extraterrestrial agenda for Earth is a good thing for humanity. Some Greys are further from source but the vast majority are good. There has been an unfair attack upon the Greys' reputation so Brian advocates for them. The Greys want to bring planet Earth on board, into a federation of planets to join our galactic community. Brian is aligned towards these ideals.
The Greys want us to develop spiritually and Brian emphasizes the need for people's spiritual development. The ETs are working behind the scenes to bring in star-seed children who can greatly improve society and turn us around. They want to work slowly and surely to have gradual UFO disclosure. They want little groups to tell as much truth as we know, because the big governments should not do so, as "the world can't handle the truth". Brian is opposed to full UFO disclosure so he is in harmony with government and military and political power, on maintaining UFO secrecy but with gradual Disclosure.
