Gateways – Lynn Andrews

This special premiere event to honor and celebrate the passing of Lynn Andrews is hosted by Diane Broussard.

Lynn Andrews is the author of the Medicine Woman Book Series, Shaman, Teacher, Writer, Author, Mother, Friend and initiated member of the Sisterhood of the Shields – a counsel of 44 indigenous woman of high degree from around the Earth. They are carrying teachings from their ancestors and passing it on to their apprentices, teaching the wisdom of the Star Beings and keeping that Wisdom alive.

Lynn has graduated students from her mystery school for over 25 years and has left a legacy. It is time to reread her Medicine Book Series from different Shaman eyes. There is still so much to learn. Lynn's Mystery School continues with a 4-year course guided by her apprentices.

Scarlet Rivera – A Grammy nominated American musician, Scarlet played her violin at many of Lynn's workshops, just hearing the music of the Shamanic Journey. Scarlet talks about her path on the Divine Feminine road to self-empowerment that Lynn's books and workshops inspire.

Lynn V. Andrews

Lynn Andrews, the Original Medicine Woman, is the New York Times and internationally best-selling author of the Medicine Woman Series, which chronicles her three decades of study and work with shaman healers on four continents. Her study of the way of the sacred feminine began with Agnes Whistling Elk and Ruby Plenty Chiefs, Native American healers in northern Canada.

Her quest for spiritual discovery continued with a Shaman Curendera of the Mayan Yucatan; an Aboriginal woman of high degree in the Australian Outback or Nepalese healer in the foothills of the Himalayas. Today, she is recognized worldwide as a leader in the fields of spiritual healing and personal empowerment.

Lynn is initiated as a member of the Sisterhood of the Shields, 44 women who are healers from cultures as diverse as Panama, Guatemala, Australia, Nepal, North America and the Yucatan. Remaining hidden, the Sisterhood has appointed Ms. Andrews as their public messenger.

Passed from generation to generation, their teachings, born of the sacred feminine, have been practiced, guarded and handed down from shaman to apprentice, mother to daughter, for over 5,000 years. Along with her Medicine Woman Series, Lynn has written a total of 21 best selling books and workbooks about her work with these women and their unique and deeply profound teachings.

Together with her teachers, Lynn Andrews is the architect of the Personal Act of Power, finding balance around the sacred wheel of life. She presents these shamanic teachings in her four-year program in her Mystery School, a two-year program called Writing Spirit, The School, and provides online courses for conscious dreaming and manifesting your personal acts of power. Lynn hosts annual live gatherings for shamanic healing and empowerment in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and Hawaii, and has led shamanic tours to Egypt, Peru, Alaska, Ireland and other sacred sites around the globe.

Diane Broussard is a spiritual teacher and healer with a passion for supporting anyone on a spiritual path. She studied at the University of Metaphysics in Association with the University of Sedona, and is a Reiki Master, and also Certified in Angel Therapy. She is a graduate of the Lynn Andrew’s Shamanic Mystery School. She is also a full mesa carrier, completing an apprenticeship with Don Oscar Mira Quesada in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, (Peruvian Shamanism) and completed several advanced classes in Core Shamanism.

Diane owns The Diamond Springs Center of healing arts and training – a place for souls to evolve one soul at a time. She founded the Placerville Drumming Circle and leads drumming sessions along with guided journeys helping others to find their guides, and power animals.

Kathy Duckworth was Lynn's closest friend. She was with Lynn when she made her transition. Kathy worked alongside Lynn, making the first edits of fifteen of Lynn's books and multiple event manuscripts. Lynn's deck of oracle cards, The Power Deck, is dedicated to her dear friend Kathy. She is a graduate of Lynn's Mystery School and was Lynn's constant companion at her shamanic events.

Professionally, Kathy is a literature and writing teacher. She founded Howling Duck Productions which published with Lynn "Notes from the Dreamtime," a seasonal journal.

Grammy nominated American musician Scarlet Rivera burned a hole in the fabric of rock history as a pioneer of electric violin. From a classical background she bent the accepted norms by experimenting with all genres of music from Rock fusion and Jazz to Latin polyrhythms. She was a revolutionary from the start. Bob Dylan was the first to discover and acknowledge Scarlet, inviting her as an integral part of the legendary album ‘Desire’ and Rolling Thunder Revue tour.
