was born a farmer's son in Cambridgeshire, England in 1937. At an early age he discovered he had a natural ability to communicate with the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms, and travel beyond linear time and space... and he has very actively continued to develop these abilities over the last 60 years.

He immigrated to Tasmania, Australia in his early 20’s, establishing a dairy farm and becoming actively involved in the early organic farming community. Eventually, having left farming, he helped to establish Homeland, a intentional community in the Bellingen Valley in NSW. These were intense years of spiritual growth, coming to terms with the voices of nature he was hearing and the beginning of his intimate relationship with Pan, which continues to this day.

After his spiritual enlightenment at age 49, Michael began writing about his extraordinary metaphysical experiences and began accepting international speaking engagements based on the popularity of his first book ’Talking With Nature'. He has to date written 23 books on his explorations of alternate realities, on the metaphysical world of Nature and communicating with Nature, and on emotional balance, unconditional Love and the meaning of Life.

For 30 years he traveled over five continents as a spiritual teacher, presenting inspirational and life-changing 5-Day Intensives, by guiding participants into a world that is so much more than we have been led to believe. Since travel was halted in 2019 he now presents online programs in English, French, German and Japanese. The inner-exercises he has created to include with these programs allow people to experience the interconnectedness of the web of life, bridging our inner and outer worlds, offering people the ability to maintain a state of peace and freedom, regardless of the situations and circumstances of their lives.

He now resides with his wife, Carolyn, on the Sunshine Coast where he is a passionate gardener, lover of ponds and fish, avid reader, and continues to write about his metaphysical experiences and journeys with Pan.

Michael, a modern mystic, weaves his wealth of life experiences and extraordinary insights in a clear, compelling, humorous and no-nonsense format. He has the consciousness and ability to empower people, and assist them in remembering and reconnecting to their Divine potential.
